Our focus on community
Communities in Southeast Texas deserve companies who focus on fostering a thriving, resilient environment where individuals can flourish and collectively build a brighter future. Our work aims to help contribute to economic growth and local education, providing essential resources that fuel community development.
Environment
We care about protecting the natural beauty and resources of Southeast Texas, including the shorelines, wetlands, and wildlife habitats. Our project seeks to implement safe, proven carbon storage practices.
"Carbon capture and storage is an innovative solution that our state can’t pass up and must look for ways to expand. We need to take advantage of every available technology to maintain good-paying jobs in our communities, keep our economy competitive globally and improve air quality in the Golden Triangle.
With string collaboration between state and local governments, industry partners, community members, we can ensure that CCS is implemented safely and effectively along the TX Gulf Coast."

Reducing carbon intensity
By permanently storing CO₂ emissions, we aim to help industries in Southeast Texas lower their carbon intensity.
Boosting economies
By seeking to grow tax revenue and jobs in the region, our work could help bring more dollars for important projects like roads, libraries, and other economic benefits.
Supporting schools
Our work will seek to benefit local schools by providing educational opportunities, funding for STEM programs, and fostering curiosity among students.
Valuing the Golden Triangle's Natural Treasures
We strive to protect the environment through responsible design, development, operations and retirement of assets
Shoreline
Healthy, living shorelines support wildlife habitats and help prevent erosion, flooding, and wave damage. Our shorelines are often where we live, work and play. We seek to do our part to maintain them.
Water quality
Water quality is important for all living beings in the surrounding area. Our deep, underground storage area will be designed and closely monitored to keep CO₂ confined and far from drinking sources, following EPA standards.
Marsh and wetland
Marshes and wetlands in Southeast Texas play a vital role in maintaining ecological balance and supporting biodiversity. We understand their role as habitats for a wide variety of wildlife.
Community Investment
Our social investments seek to respond to needs in the communities where we operate around the world. We seek to work with communities and partners to promote education and economic development.
